Hey, I'm new here, and this site looks pretty kool. But I have something to ask, not that it would ever happen, but still.
Have you guys ever seen Final Destination? If you haven't, then I have two things to say... First: You must go see it, it's an awesome movie and the sequel is even better. Second: The movie is about this one kid that somehow gets a premonition of his death, and not only his but all of his classmates, just minutes before it happens. He was supposed to die on a plane, but ended up freaking out saying the plane was going to explode, and he got himself, and 5 other classmates off the plane. When this happens, it interfere's with death's design. Death's Design is the fact that everyone is supposed to die, and in a certain way. Like if you were supposed to be hit by a bus, and someone ended up saving you, or something like that, then you would end up dying in a very peculiar way, or so that's hwo they show it in the movies. All 5 of the kids were supposed to die on the airplane, and in a certain order. They started getting picked off in the exact same order in the movie they died in the boy's [Alex's] vision. Here is my question: If this same scenario were to happen to you, no matter how farfetch'd it seems, getting the premonition and all, and having being faced with the choice of running from death for the rest of your life knowing it would end up happening anyway. In the movie the one person that died ended up staying in a mental hospital voluntarily due to extreme Necrophobia (fear of death). She could never leave that place, or there was a very high chance that death would kill her very soon. Would you die, or end up fearing death for the rest of your life, to the point of insanity? |
