Save it as a .JPG/.JPEG or .GIF if it's not already.
The rest of the file types tend to use up a lot of space. |

QUOTE(Winter @ Nov 15 2004, 11:45 PM) Save it as .gif .jpg won't be animated. No, she meant by saving each individual image of her animation as a .jpg. If you saved the animation as a .jpg it wouldn't work. That's what I suggest. |

Well first of all,
Your images are enormous. Consider the fact you're using, what, 20 images compressed together into one file? 20 enormous images. And that's not considering the fact that they could all be .PNG's.! I'd suggest cutting out all the blog and module areas, and just saving the main image as a .GIF. Then make the bg the blog and module areas. Because there is a lot of space where you aren't using to make the animation. That's why your file is so big. OR you could just fade 2 or 3 pictures into each other. Because you have...4 right now? It would cut your .GIF down by at least 6 images. So yah. But I like the idea and the theme! It's just...really large. lol. |

Err..if you want to still continue to keep that size, you can just use pics.xs.to instead of geocities...but if you want to cut down on the size, just cut off the background. MOST of it.

Woah, yeah you have a huge image.
You can try slicing the image and saving all the different parts as seperate images. That's what I sometimes do. |
