well i date, because i want to spend time with a certain special someone, go places and do things you cant do with your regular friends, i also express my feelings in a way friends will think its werid to do..so yea i date to feel apart of somthing in life and to be stress-free

like sometimes if its with a bf then its obviously to be with your bf. but other times its just for one. trying someone else ya know? |

usually for a serious relationship....or for practice in the future. i think that you should start off dating at a young age so that you kno how to treat a bf/gf in tha future when it really matters.

I'm torn between "want a serious relationship" and "want someone to understand you." I mean, those two are practically one in the same, aren't they? I want a serious relationship (and I'm in one, right now) and at the same time I wanted someone to finally understand me. I've found that person and he's the most important person in my life right now.
 In the past, dating for me was either just for fun or just wanting to have a bf/gf cause everyone else had one. Haha talk about following the crowd. :P |

because it's fun. you're getting to know yourself and another person and just seeing what it's like to be in a relationship. it's also something you can't help, when you're attracted to someone... you just want to be with them all the time.

i dont, or havent ever yet dated.
but it'd be because i'd have someone to talk to... someone who'd care about my day... who can love me in a way no one else can ... but my friends and family can all do that and maybe sometimes that's not enough, and maybe that's why people date. |

Sometimes I honestly have no idea why. It can be very pointless.
Usually I date because I want a serious relationship. I've dated some guys that I just would like to chill with, not get serious, just have a light relationship, and sometimes that's nice after a really serious one. I dunno, right now i'm putting that whole dating thing on the shelf. I've got more important things, and guys can really be lil drama kings. I don't need that, especially right now 0.0 So I just hang out with all my guy friends, and that is awesome. When the right person comes along, I'll know. I'm just starting to realize that I don't have to try all the wrong ones first. You know. |
