I hate Best Buy Options

I'd just like to take this opportunity to express my feelings for Best Buy and the fat trash who shops there.

So I had to have my CD player serviced for the 3rd time already in the 2.5 years I've had it. When they took it out for me, they said there was black crimps and an RCA cable on the back they don't use, so I messed with it, so my labor warranty is void. I in nicer words told him to f*ck himself and he was wrong. The only people who have E-V-E-R touched that CD player is Best Buy in Hobart and in Lafayette. It wasn't there or a problem before Lafayette's best buy had it, so OBVIOUSLY they did it. He didn't believe me, I explained to him why he wasn't important and had a great career going for him and left to deal with it later.

SO they call and tell me it's done, and if it messes up again before my warranty is up in May of 2006, it'll be considered a lemon and replaced...thank god. Anyway, I get there today, and this is where the fun starts. Whoever runs this store needs to be castrated as not to ever reproduce. Let me explain:

So I need to pick it up. Naturally, I figure it will be in the car audio install shop. Head back there, and nope I gotta go to customer service to get it. Ok, I can handle that. So I head up there, and get in line where it says "Product pickup" figuring unless the English language doesn't apply there, that's where to go. SO I'm waiting in line as the 4 high school whores behind the counter chat with each other. Some old guy looks at me, cuts in line and gets helped. SO I stare at him glaring until he notices, trying to remain calm. So I decide to just walk up to the counter and not wait behind the person being helped, since Best Buy obviously likes rude people better than they do organized lines. So I ask "can I get my cd player?" They tell me no, go stand in that line. SO product pickup isn't for product pickup...great. So i head to line 2...wait in line...and get told to head to the Geek Squad to get it, so they send me to stand in line in the COMPUTER SERVICE section. Now that I'm highly irritated, and utterly confused at the green card jackass running the store, I get in line in the COMPUTER SERVICE dept to get my CD PLAYER . SO as I'm waiting in line there, I get really mad, because:
1) Fat high school girl in front of me is bitching a fit about getting her cell phone fixed, and has played phone tag with best buy(suprise suprise) and blah blah blah.
2) SO the other guy helping someone is helping these 2 disgustingly obese, white trash whores with their new computer purchase. It is a BRAND...NEW...COMPUTER still in the box...and their making small talk with him, whatever. Then they ask him to plug the monitor in to MAKE SURE IT WORKS. Lady, if your brand new monitor doesn't work, then god seriously hates you. Who the blue hell has a BRAND NEW product unpackaged, opened and plugged in at the store before leaving? SO then, as I'm waiting literally 20 minutes because it's "fat lady who's the most important person around" day at Best Buy, they say the most brilliant thing I heard all day. ...
3) He plugs it in to their computer and goes "there ya go". The trashier of the two, ironically wearing a san fransisco shirt(she looked like a bus driving lesbian anyway), says "why are there all those icons on it already!?" At this point both the guy and mine jaw's just drop. He plugged her *new* MONITOR in to HIS computer, and she asks about the DESKTOP ICONS. This confirms that she is a bus driver, becuase only a poor, piece of trash bus driver would be *THAT* ignorant with computers to think the desktop icons are stored in the MONITOR. At this point I glare at her and sigh. About 5 minutes later the two heffers have had enough and finally leave. I get my cd player back eventually and go see about having it put in.
4) He says their too busy and to make an appointment. I inform him I go to Purdue and need to head back tongiht b/c of a 1030am exam, and ask if he can take 10min to put it in real quick. Chico informs me he is busy and cannot take 10minutes from his current install to do a favor for a firemen. I inform him that he as well is important and a vital member of society, and finally leave the black hole of ignorance that is Best Buy.

i said the green card because noone who grew up with English as a first language could ever run a store that disorganized as far as labelling and signs go

and I said that because they were the typical 200lb, dye my hair puprle to be cool, buy the odd claire's handbags and have 200lbs of attitude to boot type



and yeah, their service sucks. I used to have a place who did my sound system work for me, but they burned down 2 years ago sadly

But, yeah, Best Buy is awesome... just not when it comes to repairs.
For anything, I think they just f**k it up even more.
Why do that when they should just give you a replacement ?
Saves the hassle of reparing over and over.

yes..best buy can be a bitch. i was on their site and they had psp 8 for 50 bucks and i was like "YOU HAVE IT ON YOUR SITE FOR 50 BUCKS." and they were like "no we dont" ... so i told them to go to the computer and search and they were like oh and called other stores wasteing my time for like 30 minutes but in the end after agruing with them i got it for 50 bucks..bunch of idiots.

If you don't like Best Buy, go to Fry's Electronics, Circuit City, or The Good Guys.
There are tons of similiar stores out there.
