Well, basically you just use the pen tool and trace around the image, don't forget the details! It takes a lot of practice to get good. By the way, you can't vector in Photoshop, you can only vexel, since Photoshop is a raster based program.

It's the other way around, isn't it sweetxsimplicity???????
Paint Shop Pro is the raster based prog and Photoshop is the vector based prog..... (Like, even if you draw a measly square in PS, it's a vector.) RIGHT??? Because that's why I can't vector in PSP9. |

You can't vector, but you can vexel in PSP. |

you got that from a effing vector tutorial...
did you bother to READ the tutorial? and why is it that people don't open their eyes and read? there are a MILLION people who ask this question and a MILLIOON people who answer it. and w/ the question about vectoring and photoshop... this has been answered before too. vectoring's in illustrator. photoshop isn't raster-based. and neither is psp |

you can still vector in ps i mean it won't be like illustrator but i've seen lots of tutorials (not on cb) and i've even tried it the vectors in ps look exactly the same as the vectors in illustrator so i dont think it makes a difference unless you get really picky about it

You guys confuse me.
Anyway...if you go to Loathe.nu and click "Tutorials" there's a vector tutorial there. It's for Photoshop. But I think Illustrator is a much easier program to vector in. |
