yea i haven't seen it yet, but i just had to make a topic on it. im such a big christmas movie goofball.

i think it'll be good. would have been cool though if it was not computer animation and real acting, although it would have been hard to act out tongue.gif

Nay. _dry.gif I don't like comp. animation when it's not funny. Feel-good movies are okay, but not when it doesn't have a little humor in it.

the thing is .... it WAS real acting and technically not CGI ...

you see ... they had all the actors and actresses act in real life ... but they were in suits with those white ping-pong like objects .... much like those commercials you see for Madden where they try to mimic the athlete's way of moving ....

the reason why this film is revolutionary .... is because even if it isn't a box office smash ... it introduces a new type of technology that future films may decide to undertake ...

i just took my little sisters to it. it was really annoying. it was a horrible adaptation of the book, and some pars of it were so random it was rediculous. the characters were annoying too. yes, it was a kids movie, but it wasnt even sufficiently cute

I wasn't going to see it, but I've read some really good reviews, so I might now. But in my mind the best Christmas movie ever will always be "It's a Wonderful Life".

YAY. TOTAL YAY. It's one of my favourite children's picture books. It was such a good book...I'm SO looking forward to it. It's not supposed to be funny, but it's supposed to make you feel all warm inside =)

But it might be a total disappointment, so I don't know...

thats not true.

my best friend grew up on that book. thats the only thing that made her happy when she was little.
She cried during the movie.
