Yes, I'm confident that the Bush administration will keep us safe. Think: Al Qaeda was able to influence Spain's elections, but they couldn't attack us during the election season.

Statistically, you are more likely to get killed by lightning than terrorism.

Your chance of dieing in a car crash every 0.2 kilometers is about the same as your chance of being killed by terrorists.

terrorism is just the communist witch hunt of this century. the dangers of terrorism has been greatly exagerated by this president and i don't really worry about any attacks. terrorists are clever enough to wait for a more opportune time to blow us up.

well strice makes a half-point. Terrorists are more likely to be bold when their enemy is weaker... like if kerry was elected. They may not try another attack like 9/11 until 2009. You never can tell, when the older terrorist cells start to die off, the younger ones could become more reckless.

And for that lightning statistic, Did you know you can get struck by lightning twice and survive? Just makes terrorism in the US seem that much more unlikely.

There was a forest ranger who was struck by lighting 9 times, yet he still is alive and does his job.

[edit]mistake. it was seven times.

QUOTE
Shenandoah National Park Ranger Roy Sullivan was struck seven times and lived to tell the tale, and Edwin Robinson regained his eyesight and hair began to grow on his bald head after being struck by lightning. Some people have all the luck?

And let's not forget Ben Franklin.

Im canadian so Im not worried about the actual attack itself but the affect on economy there is after the attack. I mean, it does affect everyone, people do loose jobs etc because of this, and I only care for that x]

no, i'm not worried at all.
when you put it all together, 9/11 is nothing compared to the destruction and deaths americans have caused in other nations.

no offence, but americans do so much more damage in other nations, and most of us don't realize it because it's basically nothing to us, whereas when we're attacked by other countries...nevermind.

worry is fear, and if you fear terrorists then they have already beaten you.

as for "since bush won", i actually think their will be more terrorists attacking everywhere around the world, including the U.S., because of bush. but, hey, if i die cause of his stupidity, i'll be too dead do care.

I wouldn't be worried at all... If you are worried by the statistically insignificant chance that you will be killed by terrorism, then you should be worried every time you step outside during a lightning storm, and every time you step in a car.

Unless you live and work right in Manhattan, there is little to no reason to be afraid.
