hello.. um can sum1 help me by suggesting a topic for my math research class... any kind of math problems for high school students that's really hard and time consuming!!! i need to research about it and write at least 20 pgs of report by da end of december! pleeease help n my first draft/ proposal is due tomorrow n i need a topic=( thanx!!

...You don't type like your in High School.
 && yeah it should be along the lines of a calculus paper. Unless you're in like 9th grade.. Then I'd say it should be about the hardest form of Algebra you know.

Logarithms are really hard! You should do those!
But I might also suggest Derivatives of trig functions. You know what trig is right? With the sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent. And then you could even write about degrees and radians too, how to find them, etc. Pssh IDK, I'm in A Calculus right now.. and so far, in my past 4 years in math (alebra, geometry, algebra 2, pre-cal), we've never had to write an essay about math.. maybe just the definition of a line. lolol. 20 pages? Are you sure you're not looking for a long wword problem and writing how to solve it, but in 20 pages? And why would a teacher assign that? O_o |

eh, what grade are you in? i guess you could write about some theorem or formula and how it was derived? i dunno- i didn't take math research.

O_o Oh trig functions. my mom's friend was just helping me with my algebra homework. He was telling me he could probably teach me it in a week, and it would take teachers the semester. I tried like 2 problems && I only understood like half of it. lol But then again I'm in 7th grade, so it's no surprise.  that sh*t is hard, though. No matter what grade. lol But in a way it's easy? *confused*

i never heard anyone right a research paper in math. are u making this up? or is something wrong with ur teacher? musta got hit in the head or something. and 20 pages? sounds like a...lie.. no offense or anything.. thats just MAL-DO-AN-DWEH...(hard to believe)

heres a mental note: dont procrastinate unless you know what yur doing. |
