Walking Tragedy
To scared to move, To far to seek, Nothing to prove, Feel to weak, For a voice so strong, And yet so shy, Things done wrong, Wanting to die, To cold to feel, Heart beating faster, Words to steal, A living disaster, Slowly walking, Fearing to stand, Closer than normal, To hold out my hand, Wanting your heart, Refusing you’re cure, Not ready to part, With something unpure. (A longer one) "Such Saddness" In a world of darkness and hate, There lived a girl with tattered fate, She wrote poems day and night, Hopping one-day things would be right, Alone in her void she sat crying, Praying to god she wasn’t dying, In her mind she wasted away, Locking all people who loved her at bay, Her father was smoking down in the yard, Her family remained battered and scarred, Determined not to turn out just like them, She grabbed her stuff and left on a hem, Little did this girl know how cruel the world was, Leaving her stoned and even more buzzed, Fighting off demons and temptations to die, She spread her wings and got ready to fly, In the streets she made a living, Stealing the words no one was giving, This girl was frightened but acted alone, mourning silently, turning her heart to stone, She wished for someone who really cared, Many people offered but she never dared, She figured they’d hurt her and only cause pain, Her dreams were battered and mind was slain, Just when she thought her life was ending, A boy came to her rescue for his heart needed mending. ‘I can’t help you.’ Was her only reply. ‘I think you can’ He said, ‘want to know why?’ She was stunned and didn’t know what to say, For this boy could be the one to help pave her way, She shook off the feeling and put back on her mask, ‘You need to stop doing that, forget the past.’ This girl just starred and didn’t say a word, Acting just like his voice wasn’t heard, The boy smiled softly and whispered in her ear, ‘I’m here now you have nothing to fear.’ Not believing the word he just said, She smiled softly and shook her pale head, ‘Tell me what you want but I’ll never believe,’ ‘That glint in your eyes can be one to deceive.’ She turned from the boy and walked away, ‘I know better’ She told herself again, ‘For a broken heart is only sin.’ The boy watched sadly, as the girl got older, Refusing help and making hearts colder, Over and over she refused to be fixed, Wanting no love put into her mix, The boy watched as she took out her knife, And sliced her skin, to end her life, The night grew colder as more blood spilled, He knew if only her heart could be filled, She wouldn’t have to suffer from all the pain, Or watch any more blood run down the drain, Promising himself he’d save her once more, He proceeded to step out to the last door, Once he got there it was too late, Her life was gone, this shouldn’t be fate, Girls like her were meant to be saved, Not tossed around like something slave, Kissing her cold lips he said goodbye, And pushed down the tears he wanted to cry, Taking the knife he watch her use, He put it to his arm, no longer confused. Untitled A girl in the distance Alone from existence A girl in the dark Nothing to spark That color in her eyes Her spirit slowly dies. Although she holds what’s dear Close to her heart Never to part In their eyes She sees lies Boundaries and lines Bondage and binds People stare Wishing her bare Judging by looks Knowledge from books, Learn to look deeper To see a silent weeper A girl with tattered dreams Wishing she had wings To leave this place A barren case. Sun never moon A darkened doom Light verses dark A senseless mark. Written in blood An emotional flood. Loving Him His gentle touch, Is too much, For me too believe, This love I receive , Can’t be real, Yet he’ll heal, My broken heart, A magical art. In his eyes, I see no lies, But a deep despair, A rising flare, Of love and lust, A knowing just, It’s him I adore, With so much, Then regular passion, It’s a must wear fashion, I’ll go with the flow Let my feelings show In my eyes, Without a disguise Of false feelings, But true dealings Of a new love. The Things You Wouldn't Know In a world where shadows grew, and hate was the only thing, people knew. Lived a girl locked in her mind, leaving the answers for questions, to find, Her blood would dry dark, against her white sheets, leaving her mark, of her way to weep. Suddenly a light shone, in her quiet room, revealing the phone, the tool she never used, if only once, Some one would call, or maybe even, just talk at all, maybe then, She’d find a way, to help heal her heart, alittle each day. Dead Desires You wish you knew just what I do And when I cry how long I sigh And when I sleep you wonder and creep about in My head wishing me dead. Grave I can’t speak, the word’s are frozen, my throat is weak, the syllables are chosen, my death is near, my walk is unsteady, I have so much to fear, My grave is ready, I can’t feel my skin, this air is pulling, his battle to win, I open my eyes, and search for my voice, claiming my prize, Do I now have a choice? The raven’s call screams, and I fear for my mind, these vicious dreams, are all I find.. (I'll edit and post more later) |
