Eep, hope it doesn't hurt too much..
And yes, I have been under the knife. I got rhinoplasty well over a month ago, and to tell you the truth it didn't hurt AT ALL, although I was anticipating for it to hurt... |

i had an appendectomy 2 years ago.. it didnt hurt.. and the scar doesnt show whenever i wear a swimsuit..

the only major thing that happend to me was stitches
my sister had that too she skipped school for a few days it sounds scary but she says it doesnt hurt as much as it looks |

My brother used to have that problem. But he didn't have to have surgery and break his jaw...he only needed extensive orthodontic apparatuses. So I feel really bad for you =\\
And no, I have never gotten surgery in my life (so far). The only thing close that I've done is had my blood tested. Actually, he has his right cheek REALLY puffy for a few weeks. I'm not sure if it was a month. He has to get a piece of his jaw removed as well  He said it hurt alot. I felt so sorry for him because I've never gone through surgery and EVEN IF they give you medicine to numb your body, the afterpain hurts 10 times worse, after the surgery.He's getting surgery again, sometime soon, on his left part of his jaw or something,a nd has to get something removed as well. =( |

Nope, I never had to get that done. I had to get 4 molars taken out and the oral surgeon cut my gums and put a chain in there to bring down this one tooth. Not as bad as yours.

Don't worry, I'm sure everything'll go fine. They've probably done this surgury tons of times...
 And yeah, it probably will hurt, but hey, it's better getting whatever fixed right? Don't wworry, it probably won't hurt that much either.

aaah i'm getting the same thing as you! i feel ur pain! i have 2 get surgery some time on my jaw too, but i dont think it's gonna be the same procedure as urs. i think they're gonna like pull back da top of my jaw or something like that which i bet will be worse than urs
well, good luck with everything and tell me how it went, i'm anxious ta know if they really put u to sleep or not...cause then u probably wont feel anything
