At least that's what I think I saw at this bubble tea place near me, they were cooking them I think they were white. Later when it was done it was the black color. But yea I love bubble tea, haven't had it in a while. Love lychee, mango, and milk tea. Also I wouldn't put much though into what they say in the newspapers, I remember hearing sweet and low gives you cancer, but then I think I heard it was good for you. Same thing with chocolate, which is too be avoided cause not only is it fattening but causes other health problems, now research shows it good for your heart. Next thing you know they gonna be saying the tapioca balls promote longer life lol

boba's good, and i still drink it anyways. i think the stores near my house dont use tapioca or the preserveratives that may cause cancer.
