It's a compatibility issue. A lot of HTML is still written to conform to IE standards. Just give it time.

yes. Some people do not code using w3c standards. Their pages are not w3c compliant, so sometimes, pages are displayed incorrectly when using a browser other than IE. It is not firefox's fault, it is the author of the webpage.
