This piece was a quick write. Hope you guys enjoy - Comments greatly appreciated.
 --- A lost dollar taught me the woes of life. The month that has passed me by shows me the blur of forgotten dreams locked away in dark malevolence. And here I sit, a beckoning whisper in my ear, forever muffled by nightmares untold. To sleep is to escape the nightmare, wake from mental chains that bound me to desolated fantasies, warped by the victim itself. And I stand, still lost, with no wall for me to stop myself from stumbling. |
