okay, here's another. i'm just selectively going through my fat archive of old poetry and just wanted to let some people read. when i post, i'll be posting in the order i wrote them. i'm starting with some i wrote a few years ago. hopefully you'll see the improvement. enjoy, and constructive criticism is appreciated. thank you.
and yeah you may notice the pattern of "emo" love/death/angsty stuff...i was young okay. ![]() Crimson by stephinika The crimson light reflect many a meaning It could show us love in all its beauty As a rose petal with such sweet fragrance But it could also represent the pain and suffering Of death in all it’s glory I pursue both reflections of this crimson water Of love, death…they are so far apart, yet They intertwine together but so perfectly The simplicity of it all Along with a maze of complications Follow the pathway of it all So as I drop These crimson red rose petals Onto the floor beside me And see the blood of death Falling to the ground I see the crimson light approach me As my love for you Leads me to death. |
