how do i make gif images? i wanna make a banner where 2 pictures same size just keeps switching every 5 seconds

you'll need an animation program such as animation shop or imageready. to get imageready you can go to www.adobe.com and download the free trial of photoshop and that comes with imageready and photoshop.

you cant make animated gifs in just photoshop you need imageready

And ImageReady comes with Photoshop, so you should be all set.
