well you know how each class gets to vote for their homecoming court (in my school it freshman, sophomore, junior duke and dutchess, then the seninor king and queen)
so we (the sophomore class) thought it'd be fun to vote for this one kid who's... um... socially demented. and the weird thing is that... he won. i don't even think he planned on going to homecoming. i feel so bad for him. heh. we're mean. |

everything that is won by voting is a popularity contest. think about it; the more homies you have = the more votes yuo get.
For our school, juniors are Princes and Princesses; i'm running for prince and i'm like the only guy ahaha. We have to get 100 signatures and write a 150 word paragraph aon why we should be this and get ot goto winterformal for free i think. ;p besides: i dont even think more than 1/10 of the school population KNOW homecoming court exist; so it is very easy for some1 to win who isnt "popular." |

YAh our class did that too, but the people we voted for were socially outcasted, it's juss we were tired of seeing the same freakin PPl always on court..so it's kewl that they got nominated AND they WON

we only vote for the girls on court. we have now had the same two people two years in a row. theyre from different middle schools, so i guess thats how it was divided. but the hispanic kids in my homeroom thought they were both hot, and i guess one is kind of pretty but the other? erm, no. but theyre not especially popular, one is slightly but i had no idea who the other was
