Well.
If I were old enough to vote for this election, I wouldn't. I really wouldn't. My reasons are that I dislike all of the major candidates. I have researched on them, listened to their views, and watched a debate or two. So I have learned about them. I'm not just making a vague statement on how I hate them both.

I just don't like them.
I suppose if I had to vote, I'd pick Bush, but that's getting off-topic.

It seems like during this current election, they're bashing each other more than usual.. they lose points from me for doing that. I wish they'd just stick to the facts.
But then again, I'm getting off-track.

Okay, so I guess my main reasons for not voting [let's just pretend I'm old enough for a second] are because I don't like either of them from what I've read.

i agree with brie. i actually would vote tho even though i dont like them. their are more areas to vote in. i would probably actually choose kerry though... just because i dislike bush very much. kerry isnt perfect either though. he says hes gonna lower taxs...AND hes gonna raise teachers salaries...which come from taxes. so he kind of confuses me.

My brother is 25 and he hasnt voted for the 2000 and prob wont for 2004.

I asked him why?

He said because he has the freedom to not vote.

Which..kinda did make sense. The choice IS yours to vote or not. (Although personally I would vote) But other people try telling other people to vote..its kinda like high school peer pressure to a point.

i suppose that you would not vote if you hated both the canidates and didnt want to be responsible for helping either one win. not that its a good reason, especially since you could vote for a smaller party, but that does seem a bit of a waste since theres no chance of them winning

if i was of age, there would be no reason not to vote. i mean, you're picking someone who is going to run your country. if you don't, then you're very brave not to.

uh maybe because the chances of you becoming the swing voter in the swing county of a swing state are close to ZERO.

voting is a collective voice, and theres nothing wrong with a collective voice but when people are running around like russel simmons and diddy telling you to vote without educating you, thats criminal
