Background Image, How can I make it fit right? Options

First, xanga that I'm trying to fix.

I want the background image to just be on there once, and for it to have like a white border around the top and bottom. Not sure of any examples and it probably has somthing to do with like the photo editing part and not codes. If anyone could help me out that would be highly appreciated.

try and see if that works

and for the image to repeat once.. i think it's in the look and feel. Where it says background image > No repeat.
