its plain, and a little busy...if that makes sense..lol. You have too much going on at the top and it doesnt really flow, but the whole effect of it is plain. Maybe simplify your banner and try and make everything flow, it looks like a bunch of images just pasted on to the page in no effective way. "Find a better solution to the problem"--thats what my art teacher used to say. good luck!
