I personally think that the term "love" is something that is defined by the person themself, and not a general standard. Therefore, no. I dont think there is an age.

there are so many types of love.. you cant just tell someone that they are not in love at the age of 13 when in fact they have puppy love ya know?! you will never experience TRUE love until you are married... and whenever you get to that point.. you'll know.. hehe so, no, no age limit :o)

There are full grown adults who still can't understand love, or at least what love is in society's standards.

Some people grow both emotionally and mentally quicker than others, and also go through a lot more. Some are mature enough for 'love' and some still have a lot to learn until they're really ready. I dunno what I'm babbling about.

No, Love knows no age...or race, or gender, etc etc.
Does happiness? Grief? Any other emotion? Emotions shouldn't be limited by a set standard.

I'm in between. Sometimes there's a yes and a no.

No, because some are too young to actually know what love is, so when they say it and they don't really mean it (They might break up five days later or sooner), so yeah..

Then again, yes because you can't tell what the other person to feel. It's their own feelings and because they are young, it doesn't mean they don't know what love is..

True love knows no limits.

But there is puppy love, which is often mistaken for real love by younger or more immature people.

It doesn't matter about age.
It matters about maturity.

Yes, in a relationship with an intimate person. But I guess you can live in delusional world where those two 2nd graders love each other.

i agree and i love the way you put it. its so true. its not about age but about maturity, as many of you have said. there are also the different levels of love but only one's self can know when one is in true love.

i think love can be affected by age.......since age is just a number, the number is however equivalent to the years of expereince.........we mature through the years tha expereinces, hence we mature through age...............so if you love someone whose maturity level is higher and urs is lower or vice versa........then love can be affected adn fade away....you could be too imature or the other persojn cuold be too neat or too smart or wutver, or you both cant stand each other....then that woudl affect love.
