My name is spelled Hayley.
At work i have a name badge on, and when people write my name down for something, they constantly spell it 'Haley'
It's always said right, but sometimes mistaken for Kayleigh. O_o

People spell my name wrong most of the time if they don't know me. They spell it Melisa, or Mellisa. Goddamn people, it's Melissa. And I really hope people don't say my name wrong stubborn.gif.

well, usually just my last name.

it's tsui. and most people pronouce it, "suey." or, "tisuey."

however, once, someone was writing my name for this orchestra critique and he spelled it, "magy."

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU? everyone knows how to spell maggie!

lol YES people say and spell my name wrong quite often. my name is Quyen. the most common spelling is Quinn. i've gotten Kwen and Gwen a few times as well. there's like two ways i guess you can say my name: either "Kwen" or "Gwen", but most people when first encountering it say "Koo-Yen" or "Q-Yen" or during roll call they don't bother to say it at all and spell it out.

...and that is only my first name. my full name is Quyen Thuy Ngoc Nguyen. oh joy, i can not wait until graduation day when they have to say it all! haha :)

Julia. You'd think it's an easy name, right? well, WRONG. People call me Julie all the time, and I'm tired of it. "Julia" and "Julie" are two different names. When I tell you my name is Julia, THAT'S WHAT IT IS! I've been called

Julie
Jewel
Julius
Juba
Joo
Jula

And all these people were serious. It's NOT a hard name, for heaven's sake! But, Julie is the most. It makes me want to grab their shoulders and SHAKE THEM and ask " WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?????" I guess they're lazy asses who only want to say two syllables and forget the "a" all together of my name. I'm sick and tired of it. stubborn.gif

The can, but most of the time not so much.

A lot of people just spell it as two words, thats as bad as it gets for my first name. My last name on the other name almost everyone gets it wrong pinch.gif
