I hate it.
I used to go there so much, the people never scared me Their t-shirts sayings annoy me like, "you laugh because i'm differnet, i laugh because you're all the same" It's stupid. And hot topic made fashion like that trendy, so now everyone and their mothers are wearing bondage pants. And like no one is original.. it's dumb. And I can't even buy a band tee there, because most likely in my school, someone already has that band tee. So, I buy my stuff online most of the time. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU BE AFRAID OF THE STORE. It's basically like any other store, but with black walls and the sales person is not going to like bite you or anything. |

i guess some of the stuff is cool. but very overpriced. I only go to see if a cd i want is out or go to their sales section.

i mostly go there for gifts, i never buy anything for myself there..
my friends get me gifts from there as well.. so it's a fair trade. the sales people are humorous if anything (in a good way) |

that used to be my favorite store last year. then i got out of that "phase". hah. but i still go there for jewelry and band shirts. the people there are pretty nice, (i haven't met a mean worker there yet) they just look intimidating.

The 'Scary people'
that everyone talks about at the cash registers.. are not even scary. They are really nice, just like in any other store. I really do NOT know why people label that store as scary, cause it's really not. I always go in there with my friends. But trust me, I'm no 'goth'. I just buy earrings and band t-shirts and stuff. You would never catch me wearing parashoot pants.. .. or trenchcoats. My hairs not dyed black, and I don't have 20 peircings. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't look like the people at the cash registers, and really, Hot topic isn't that bad of a place. |
