My previous comment was a polite way of letting you know that you've somehow offended me with your unproven statement about banning Asian candies. If you have some literature on anything bad on them, I would like to read it.

I also said I grew up with Lucas and I don't really believe in that lead poisioning article much since it didn't affect me.

Why on earth would they *ban* the candy? That seems rather ridiculous to me.
Why not just take it out of production for a while, find what is making the product poisonous with lead, change the way the product is being produced (sorry for the repetitiveness) and then put it back on the shelves.

i am a mexican,and i eat it all the time. i am fine,and i havent heard of anyone being harmed by it. and besides,if it was harmful,dont u think it would have been recalled???

ima put it in the words you put it also so here " you've somehow offended me with your unproven statement about banning Asian candies" but instead of asian candies im going to plug in mexican candies. your saying all mexican candies are harmful/poisenous w/e. which is 100% not true. am i right or not? Ok, yea its from one company. theres the source to back it up, but from ONE company not ALL the mexican candy companies. Is anyone telling the kids to eat the lucas. are peple forcing them to eat the lucas. are people saying "hey kid, shove this up your mouth and eat". no they arent. its their choice. People (mostly latinos) since not alot of asians like them will still eat them. some people dont even care. same thing with drugs. theres still people who shoot up drugs, snort whichever way they get it in. you get what im saying. i only said asian candies because then you will "see" what im trying to say. just because one company's candy gots some lead poisioning in them, dont mean all the companies from that country should be banned. thats too extreme. I specifically said that I'm one of those Asians your speaking of who enjoyed Mexican candy since I was growing up. What I don't get is why you say "Asian candy" instead of any other race's. That's where I was offended and that's also why I responded that you need to give a source like Whitelotus has when he/she say that Mexican candy is harmful.

Simply, my point is, Whitelotus has a source that names Mexican specifically, thus this topic is about Mexican candy. I was confused and offended as to why you would say Asian candy without anything to back up your "example". It's not logical to throw out an example when it has nothing to do with the subject matter.
