I'm at something of a loss.

I don't know what all the fuss was over, because the more I look at UGA, the more confident I am that it wouldn't be all that difficult for me to get in. Thus, I'm definitely going to apply. I was fairly interested in Emory, but looking over the requirements, maybe not so much.

Thus, the past hour I've spent browsing the college board website has been almost completely in vain.

^Well I guess Ithaca doesn't really count as it's own city. It is a wicked sick college town though, very hippie.

PS, I am going to ITHACA now. It costs waaaay less than Syracuse.

I don't really like Cornell, haha. But oh well. Rachel, you live in Boston right? Or near Boston anyways, we should meet up during Winter break or something.

Same here. You know you're still in highschool because of all the stupid drama going on. Highschool can kiss my butt goodbye.

International students orientation is on Sept. 1. YAY.

Three of my friends are going to Emory next year. I was interested in Emory and some other highly selective schools, but I think I'm giving up on that idea I'm just going to stay safe and cheap in state. sad.gif Why'd my family have to move to South Carolina?

That sucks. Move to South Carolina from where? I might apply to Clemson, but it's pretty expensive out of state. Of course, that's another reason I'm ditching the Emory idea, because it's a lot more expensive even, but still.

oh, wow!

What do you mean about Clemson? It hardly sounds thrilling to me, but the only reason I was thinking about it really is because it isn't all that far away...

i'm attending RIT for fall of this year. i was accepted into RPI but RIT offered way much more grant money than RPI. the federal aid and grants that RIT offered turned my originally $33,000 tuition/room&board into a $4000 a year tuition/room&board. which of course does not include work study program.

Clemson's a good school, but the people there are just...ugh. There are a lot of people who can study and make good grades and all that, but can't hold an intelligent conversation for all the money in the world.

oh and I'm not Arabic...just thought I'd get that out there. NOt that there's anything wrong with being Arabic.

RIT is the Rochester Intitute of Technology. RPI is the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Oh, that sounds dreadful. I'm the opposite. I can say intelligent enough things, but my grades are pathetic.
