Johns Hopkins is such a great school for med, but eh...I don't really like Baltimore. JHU is in a really sketch part of that city.

DEFERRED from Columbia... I'm so disappointed, but then I reasoned that I had a 10% chance of getting in, 20% of deferral and 70% of rejection... Eh, but I'm going to continue to show interest in the school and hopefully I can get in Regular... (hopefully)
Eh, time to work on those other apps now...

When deciding where I should transfer to, I had a lot of schools in mind. Location is key. UT-Austin is an amazing school with great campus life, but I don't want to be in Texas.

These were my top choices...

NYU
Adelphi
Georgetown
Temple
Drexel
Penn
Hofstra

I got accepted to Adelphi, Georgetown, Temple and Drexel and haven't heard back from the rest. I chose Adelphi. So thats where I'mheaded come the 23rd.

Anyone in New York?

BRANDON. You should've chosen Georgetown. You know you love DC. =)

Applying to UPenn Huntsman ED fall 2006. Yayayayay.

^hope you have success with your other apps.

I applied to 3 schools already (Long Beach, San Fransisco, and L.A. State) and I have 4 more to go (Fresno State, Oregon, Howard and Clark). Wish me luck. Howard is my first choice.

upenn
princeton
columbia
williams
duke
wash u in st. louis
UT- backup

i did Rice ED but was rejected (cause i'm from houston, as i understand: i was way more qualified than most of the people they accepted) =/ poop. way to crush my rice/baylor dreams!!

i'm applying to a bunch more small liberal arts schools that are just redundant, like bates and haverford, that my mom is making me apply to, but those are my main top choices.

prospective major: bio // pre-med

yay canadians!
i'm applying and i know pretty much that i'm going to sfu (simon fraser university) in british columbia.

heyyy!!!!
gooooo0o0o CANADA!!
at my post-secondary night thingy at my school they told us that SFU garaunteed acceptance for the 2006 year to all students who had a GPA of over 80%...which actually really pissed me off.

anyways. i live in British Columbia, Canada. and im in grade 10 now. planning on sending applications to the following Universities. (in 2 years though, of course)

In America-------
Harvard-- ( its worth a try. chances arent good for ANYONE but if you dont try you dont have a chance at all...besides...i know ppl who've gotten in)
Cornell--
MIT!!!!!!!!******---definately wanna go to MIT. im like in love with MIT.
Tufts--
NYU--new york is just cool.
Columbia
Princeton--im not worried about tuition costs.
(can't do yale since they dont accept IB....BIZATCHES!)

If i fail to be accpeted into any of the American schools....then Canada is where its at.------
University of Toronto
University of Waterloo

.............if all fails, my last resort is UBC ( Univeristy of British Columbia)...for some reason i really dont want to go there. feel like its too easy to get into. Im pretty sure i can get into UBC...like 90% sure....*sigh*..

GOD i wanna go to MIT so bad!

Oh yes, everyone covets the American schools. 'Tis why there's so much competition among international students to get into the Ivy League.

Okay, enough of all the single minded individuals speaking of USC being the top college in the nation or of Texas being the top college in the nation (i cannot argue with that remark but have to look at the topic both sides :) ) Which College do you believe would make the greatest collge to attend to?

If the primary reason for selecting a school is the quality of the football team, then either school would be a first rate choice. If quality education is important, then the choice is clear...University of Pittsburgh! showoff.gif
