princeton has got to be the most elitist school ever. i hated it when i visited last spring with the eating clubs and stuff like that.

Yeah, I heard Princeton was also really elitist. Bah, I could never survive in that kind of environment where a lot of the students are rich and stuff. I guess that's why I'm not applying there (along with the subpar average and SATs hah).

Meh, I have some friends who are doing Yale and Cornell. I am not too sure about Harvard...Hmm, my friend Jon Ma might. I know he is doing Yale but I am not positive about Harvard.

Even if I had the scores and whatnot to get in, I wouldn't want to go. College for me is going to be fun!

i don't dig the hardcore learning stuff.

if you can't relax, you might as well not try.

which is why i wouldn't go to princeton even if they offered me a 2000 buck stipend a month, in addition to a full ride.

ok, maybe i would... for 2000 bucks a month. no less.

oh i feel your pain. would you rather get deferred or rejected? i'd like to get deferred, but some of my friends prefer rejection, so they won't have any false hopes.

Eh, I dunno. My friend says that if you get deferred, it's like getting rejected...
But I guess I would like to be deferred so if/when i do get the bad news, it isn't as bad, since I know that there are other colleges that I've already applied to, if that makes any sense hah. Also, I'd rather not get rejected right before Christmas hah.

Yeah, I would not like to be deferred, then waitlisted. Just give me the decision already!
And, I know 2 more weeks. Everyone I know is counting down and it's like the only date etched in my mind. Are you going to stay at home waiting for the news? Ack, I don't want to be rejected, and go back to school on Friday with everyone asking "Did you get in?"

Yeah, well at least your school does that. I don't think Columbia puts that online, so I'll be worrying that whole week.

When deciding where I should transfer to, I had a lot of schools in mind. Location is key. UT-Austin is an amazing school with great campus life, but I don't want to be in Texas.

These were my top choices...

NYU
Adelphi
Georgetown
Temple
Drexel
Penn
Hofstra

I got accepted to Adelphi, Georgetown, Temple and Drexel and haven't heard back from the rest. I chose Adelphi. So thats where I'mheaded come the 23rd.

Anyone in New York?

Yeah, I live in New York. I'm also applying to NYU if I don't get into Columbia.
Eh, most of the schools I'm applying to are in New York (Columbia, NYU, Barnard, Cornell, and CUNYs and SUNY: Stony.)
