I currently attend the University of Texas- San Antonio but I just recently got accepted to UT-Austin (LONGHORNS, SUKKAZ!). Austin is the only place in Texas really worth living in. Its like a seperate state... surrounded by Texas.

I currently attend Bucknell University, majoring in computer science, but I'm interesting in possibly attending William & Mary for grad school after I get done with my undergraduate studies.

have you visited there before? how do you like the campus? i'm applying there for undergrad as a safety, and my first impression was that it was incredibly dull.

Yeah, I've spent entirely too much time in Williamsburg, and I've toured the campus a bunch of times. A friend of mine is an undergrad student there right now, too. It's a beautiful campus, and the town itself (the new section) is very nice. I haven't ever really been bored when I've been in the area. It has the whole historical atmosphere too, which is a bonus, but even aside from that, I personally think it's a great school. My friend seems to really enjoy it, too.

I'm enrolled in the University of Central Oklahoma but haven't started classes yet. Next semester. It's a cool college.

If I get into all of these schools, I'd really like to go to either Ohio State of Mizzou. I'm thinking of majoring in either Journalism or Emergency Medicine (probably leaning towards the Medicine field, though).

ME TOOO...well for the journalism part anyways =]

Wow, do you have the grades to get in there? I'm not saying it to be mean, but those are freaking rough schools to get into, meaning they are uber selective...

Even though BU doesn't have like high GPA/SAT scores, it is really hard to get into for some reason. Over the past few years BU and BC have gotten soo much more competitive even though they aren't like wicked smart schools haha.

Yeah, I know but the statistics of the students from last year's graduating class that got accepted into BU was pretty good, and my parents feel that it would be a good match-safety school

Heh...everyone's mentioning what school they applied to, but not many people have mentioned what they plan on studying.

Yeah, usually the first term grades still count, and your senior year grades count too, since a college can rescind your admission if you do even worse senior year.

Oh, and I plan to double major in Spanish and biology/biochemistry or something along those lines, I also want to go to medical school, but I'm kinda reconsidering that since it takes so long...

Mmmm, I am planning on Journalism/Art History. Although I might want to think more about Photography/Journalism or something like that. Photojournalism is much more me than just plain old journalism.

Yeah I do, but it's really expensive to go there, so I doubt I'll go if I get accepted (unless it's the only place I get accepted blah)

I wish I could go to NYU hahah but I'm not intelligent or creative enough. It bothers me that this one guy who's amazingly intelligent and creative and graduated top 15 last year got accepted to NYU but he DIDN'T GO THERE! mad.gif

I want to go to UCLA, but I will probably end up in UCSD because I don't think ucla will accept me. pinch.gif Too many Asians already attend that school. *sigh* UCLA... If I get rejected from both (which I doubt), the least I could do is go to UCI (UCIrvine), but I don't want to end up there because this one guy goes there.. pinch.gif
