girls are invading the guys, so guys could invade the girls as well. i guess i could be considered popular. everyone knows who i am, and i dont know many people who dont like me as a person. i'm just smart, thats all. thats how everyone knows me... does that count? |

I dunt really care, but I sort of do, so i still voted for yes...but im friendz with soo many popular girlz and it's easy gettin in but hard stayin in, cause i wanna get out sooo bad! being popular is probabley a wonderful thing, but remember this : the popular peeps seems to be mean to all the geeks. I was a geek before, until i became friends wit a popular girl. her popular friends are mean to me sumtimes, but sumtimes they are nice, and it really irrates me, and i would juss liek to be friendz wit the first one i made. then if i wanted to stay in, i have a new ruputation, so i have to be mean to me geeky friendz or sumthin...but know i juss leave them alone cause it sux being populaR!!!!

well lots of times i do feel like i really want to be popular. but when you think about it, there are some things that come with it (at my school at least) that i'd really rather do without. and i think it's better to have genuine fun with whatever friends taht you have then worrying about what everyone around you thinks about you and what image you have to uphold. I've learned to be happy with the great friends that i have, and well... popularity usually gets you boyfriends too, but if that's the only reason why they date you, then they aren't worth the time anyway.
so yea... popularity isn't that important to me (anymore)  i'm actually happier in this state of mind too

I used to be popular...just cuz my friends were the popular group...and then me and my bff were in the same clique and then our parents had a huge fight
 and then we werent allowed to c eachother anymore so wen u r forced to ignore 1 friend, the rest ignore u...  so yea now im just semi-popular and hang out with guyzz mostly...

my school is big, so not everyone knows everyone...there aren't too many cliques, and i try to have a conversation with everyone...i've never been popular, and i try not to be since all the popular ppl in my junior high were so mean...it's good to be known and to be nice, but popualrity can destroy ppl...

i think its important to everyone... but that doen'st mean u wanna be the most popular person in the world or nothing..
i mean.. no one wants to be a loner with no friends and stuff u kno? everyone wants a certain "level" of popularity.. even just with your friends.. it's awkward to say, "yea i wanna be popular".. but i take that as just saying , "yea i want to have friends and mean something to others" lol~ so in that sense.. sure i wanna be popular >_< gRaCe~! |
