Situps do not make you lose weight. What situps do is concentrate and work out your abdominals, building the muscle underneath the fat. You might get a flatter stomach, but you won't lose weight - same with pushups.

I really should start doing situps again. I used to able to do about 400-600 in a row without stopping...now I doubt I can do more than 150-200 sad.gif

so...? the whole issue with losing weight is to feel skinnier, but if you can actually see the results i dont see why it matters either way.

I knew that too. If you wanna lose fat you have to run... my brother said you won't be able to see muscle if you do sit ups because the fat's in the way or something.

sit-ups and push-ups are just a way of gettin more stronger. u lose weight by makin ur diet smaller. iono why ppl call it "going on a diet" because a diet is wut u eat. i have to do push-ups and sit-ups eveyday and ive gotten stronger but not skinnier
