I have a xanga that i use the script New Song on Refresh on. I recently nuked my computer, but before i did, the songs on my xanga worked perfectly and i could hear them. Now, i cant hear any of my songs but when i copy and paste the link into my thing at the top i can hear it.
I can hear other poeples songs when i go to their sites, but i havent tried going to a site with the new song on refresh script because most dont have the script.
My friend says he can still hear the songs on my site though, so i guess i need to download something to be able to hear the songs,
BTW: i upload my own songs onto a website and then use their URLS, the songs are all in mp3 format.

hm... i dont see ne thing wrong with the script, i tried the urls, and they work, but they open up that side media thingy, that may be it, i belive that ure urls have to end in a file name lik .mp3, .wma... etc etc... and u cant add it cuz it wont work... heh... try another site for songs?

^ You told the script to play a webpage. Tell it to play the specific path of the music file.

what format should i put it in? WAV, and what kinddd?

when i convert the mp3 into WAV it becomes like 50 megabytes and when i try to change it a little using sound recorder the quality gets really bad and it still is larger then what it was in mp3 format

rigth click the link to the song and hit properties, the url of the song is in there, but you are right, you may have to dl something to make your songs work, there probably isnt anything wrong with the script, especially if someone else can hear it.

Since you just nuked your computer, you may be missing some Java files. I'm not sure which specific ones you're missing, but since it worked before, that's most likely the problem.
