I LOVED THE MOVIE. Of course I wished they had kept some of the scenes in the original book, especially the world cup..and the other champions dealing with the dragons but the movie would have been waay too long. So, I loved it.

So, I just saw it. I really liked it, better than the first three. But I cannot believe they left out the quidditch scene too! And, a lot of things they left out too; but it was a long book to transcribe into a movie.
Cedric is really cute, and Malfoy didn't get enough face time (hah, he got cuter...) Cho looked pretty during the Yule Ball... But, I really liked it. It was really sad too in the end...

i saw it a week before it opened... and I loved it. The only part that irked me was voldemort. He was kinda... not sinister enough. He was like, "Oh, my death eaters, ladida, my friends! Why didnt you hit me up? I waited for you..."
He seemd like Gilderoy Lockhart's son or something.

I WATCHED IT TODAYY!

it was ok

i was kind of dissapointed though, the movie felt like it was moving WAY too fast, adn they took out SO MANY IMPORTANT PARTS of the book [like all the house elfs, the SPINX <-- OMG I CAN"T BELIEVE THEY FORGOT THATWTFWTF, and the quidditch scenes.

i'm sure it dissapointed a lot of other die-hard fans as well. Cho chang is ehh. OK looking.

Overall, it was better than the third, but still dissapointing

I watched it today, too.
And I knew it wouldn't be that good, but fairly interesting.
But that was my favorite book!
They took out the thing about S.P.E.W., Quidditch World Cup, and so much more...
And Cedric looked...
Uwa, not what I thought.
pinch.gif

I still think Cho looks a bit too old for her part...
I just think she should look a year or two younger ya know?

I also thought the part with the dragons, the arena was going to be way bigger.

when they were all done shooting the movie, it was like 8 hours (no joke!) heck yes it would have been long (but thats the same for all movies).

they had to cut a lot out (altough i wouldnt have minded an 8 hour movie if they had intermissions of course!)

OMGOSH

Haha I saw the premiere midnight showing and I LOVED IT. It's amazing.
Cedric is sooo hot.
The best movie thus far out of all the Harry Potters.

I just wish it was longer and included more. Oh well, can't have everything.

WHAT THEY TOOK OUT S.P.E.W.???????????

I'm not watching it if S.P.E.W. isn't in it. I'm a huge house elf activist.

Then I guess you won't be watching it wink.gif

Yeah, Robbi, I was waiting for that riddle with that spider. Aw, well. I think out of the three tasks, they did the second one the best, meaning the director included most of what was in the book in that scene.

It's interesting that the twins had bigger roles than Draco.

but then again, you have to think that Draco doesnt have a big role in the 5th book, but the twins do. I'm sure they'll play Draco up a little more in the next one because of what will happen in book 6.

I was pissed off that they didn't have the riddle scene in the last task. Spy-er? You know? They left out many important parts, but that's the best they could do for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

It's interesting that the twins had bigger roles than Draco.

edit//
And Cho is a year older than Harry. So she doesn't look too "old" for the part.

Yeah, I was waiting for the sphinx. Grrr. It did seem really rushed though.
And yeah, the twins were pretty funny, though I would have liked to see more Draco. shifty.gif

I got out of school early yesterday to go see it.

and.... ZOMGZ!111!1!1!I!!

I am in love with Mike Newell. This movie was way better than the first three. Yes, it did seem a bit rushed, but it was two hours and forty-five minutes long. They fit in what they could.

You can just called me a fanatic.

That was one of my favorite parts...
And the Quidditch World Cup went by so fast!

I really liked this movie! Although I was expecting more from it (since the book was so long, I feel like it skipped a lot?) Dunno. Also, Cedric was realllllyyy cute.

Is it just me or does the guy who act as Harry Potter kind of look like.. Elijah Wood (as Frodo in Lord of the Rings)? mellow.gif

Fleur was pretty in the beginning, but that was it. Her face kept looking different... in a weird way. Cho Chang was kinda cute. :] Her accent was kinda weird, to me. And she looked Vietnamese.

I liked when Fred and George were like "YEAAHHH!" When they jumped in and threw their names in haha. It was pretty funny. This movie was funnier than others because they had some random things.

What was really pointless/random/nonsensical was when Hermoine was like "You guys..." and the African American girl next to her nodded her head and then it skipped to a different scene. I mean, what was with the "You guys" thing? o__O Like, I bet everyone was expecting her to say something else, but Hermoine didn't! Haha :P
Sirius is my favorite character... Too bad in the 5th book.. T_T
