At the very bottom of the CLAF in Xanga.. add the url to the background image and set fixed. Does that help?

edit: Scratch that ^
Use the following code put site inside box:

In "Input Header":

CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
<table border=0 width="100%" height="100%"><tr><td valign="middle"><center>
<table width="1800" height="1200" background="URLTOIMAGE" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr><td colspan="3" width="1800" height="380"></td></tr><tr><td width="422" height="586"></td>
<td><center>
<div style="border: 0px; overflow:auto; width: 904px; height: 576px; background:transparent">
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

And In "Website Stats":

CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
</div></td><td width="488" height="582"></td></tr><tr><td width="1800" height="244"></td></tr></table>
</center></td></tr></table>
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

Don't fix the background.. use the table code.. then the text will go inside the box. To make the div box go to the left.. remove the <center> tags.

Thats one big background.. not many people have their resolutions set above 1024x768. You might want to consider first.

Resize it with a photo editing program.

Oh, and here's the code (works on 1024x768):

CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
<style type="text/css">
body { background-image: url("http://www.createblog.com/uploads/post-10-1073958905.jpg"); background-attachment: fixed; background-position: 50% 70%; background-repeat: no-repeat; }
.search, .footer { display:none; }
table.main, table.navigation { width:100% }
</style>
<br><br><br>
<div align="center" valign="middle" style="overflow: auto; width: 570px; height: 350px; background-color: #ffffff">
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->
