I've read several 'tutorials' on 'How To Make A Xanga Skin' and what not, and they all say to put the background image info in the Header area. This is all fine and dandy (and the image mapping even works) but the problem is is that the (mapped) image are only in the HEADER instead of the actual background.

Does anyone know how to resolve this, or have I only succeeded in confoozeling you all...? If you think you might know how to fix it, please get ahold of me if you don't mind... Reply here, PM me, email, or even leave a comment at my Xanga... I'd really like to get this solved if someone wouldn't mind helping me out.

Cute site. ^.^

That's what's happening. Only thing is is that I want that little banner-thing you have on the top to be the ENTIRE background of the site....

(The image is located at my photobucket.)

i think that's what she doesn't mean.

i think you need to add this in your css
CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->

background-image: url("YOUR URL") fixed;
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

otherwise you can make the background image part of your skin when you make the skin image in photoshop or whatever you have.

by the way your link doesnt work.

Yeah, that's it! *laughs* I'm playing around with it on one of my additional sites and this is what I've succeeded in doing... And it's not what I want. And now the image map isn't working, either... *laughs*

It's deleted, and the image map is working again... *smiles faintly* But it's still being a header image instead of a background image....

Gah! If someone is willing to go into that actual xanga and try to get it to work for me, I'd let them... And be forever indebted... *sniffles, tries to look pleading* If this could be you, PM me...
