Thread Just to sum it up, I have to disagree with the movies. My boyfriend and i hate the movies. It's too hard to see each other in the dark. Why would you bring a person to a place to spend time with them, when you are both concentrating on something else (the movie). Making out in the dark is sooo wrong. There are good places to date, but there really isn't a perfecrt one. Isn't every moment you spend with that special someone is a "date"? About looking for something you want in the perfect someone... hm... I'd say if they were really the "perfect someone" you would like a lot of things about them, if not all. Confidence is the key. Expressing your feelings to him/her is the right way to go. And surely they will do the same. This may sound really scary, but with his/her permission, and if you are really serious about this one, try meeting this person's parents, or have them meet yours. Trust me. |

Hmm the park and the movies sounds too ehh...
I would have to say the mall or something with a whole bunch of your other friends..don't know why, but it'll be much funner that way. For me anyways. |

I know this sounds childish... but playing board games and just goofing around, watching a movie together brings a lot of fun and laughter. Also it helps bring back memories that you can share with each other
. I want my guy to be HONEST and LOYAL. <--- very important. But i want them to be goofy and have a sense of humor too. Lovable, a little sensitive, and just understanding. |

movies are not the perfect place to date on a 1st date. since all you'll be doing is watching the movie and some other stuff... you won't be able to get to know them better which is the point of a first date : to get to know them better
