and i am working out. but, i just started like, a week agao and havent been getting results (wich, i know thats not gonna happen) so, untill i get somthing, i don kno what 2 do...

i don't think sucking in your tummy will affect anything. sometimes i do that too

Don't think so _smile.gif I've read in some magazine that you can make your tummy smaller if you suck it in for 5 seconds, 10 times a day. Not sure if that will work tho. Too lazy to try it _dry.gif

Oh honestly. I read a magazine that actually suggested sucking in as a method of strengthening your muscles. Why the f**k would it deform your back? If anything, it's reshape stomache, which would be a positive, no? But perhaps it's causing the deformations in your typing? Because it's a bit odd, really. Anyway, ignore most people in this topic (at this point, i suppose I'm referring to anyone to whom this applies, since this topic is old, yeah?) because they don't seem to know what they're on about. There's absolutely nothing wrong or abnormal about sucking in, and it doesn't even make sense to think it'd be damaging.

yea just diet, run and lift. i play football and im an o-lineman. before the season i was 280 at 5'10". (a healthier 280 than you think) and during the season i was 270. so at new years i made my resolution, get thinner, build even more muscle, and play fullback in college. well, im 240 now, thats 30lbs in about 7 weeks. not bad eh? the thing is, when you diet, dont quit, you can not do that, you might see that the scale says you lost 2lbs in one week, but you still are lowering your body fat %, so never quit even if the weight goes down slowly.

And at first it is kind of tough, but after a few weeks, the hunger aspect and pain from excercising passes, and you will cruise. Believe me, it works, i cut down my diet, i got in the weight room (which i have to do anyway for college football, so thats nothing new, just off season training) and i get on the treadmill and run about a mile and a half or 15 minutes every other night. not too bad, i enjoy it.

And believe me, its nice, b/c i have gotten compliments from EVERYONE about how good i look now, its a pretty good motivater, and wouldn't it be nice not to have to worry about that anymore? dont suck in, just get determined to look better. I'm determined to look better, and my biggest reason for doing this is that i want to play fullback in college, that is like my dream right now, and so far, things are in order.

P.S. I want to get down to about 200-210. when i do, ill be sure to post pics somewhere with a diary type thing. thanks for listening, bye.

The reason why sucking in your tummy is obvious is because it kinda widens your stomach not in fat wise but it looks like your curves are widened out. Just diet and excercise. No need to suck in any stomachs.
