her tears hide
behind a mask.
for her, being happy
is such a hard task.

what's behind her smile
nobody will know.
for she lets her pain hide
she never lets it show.

her friends think she's happy
they think that she's fine.
but what they dont know
is that she's sad all the time.

she cries and she cries
but nobody's there.
nobody's there
to listen or care.

she's decided that she
wants it to end.
her knife she holds high
her life she surrends.
