Aight, I got one of the custom module scripts and added it to my site... low and behold, I lost my private side-module... now I'm sure it's "ha ha" and all, but it would be tight to have it back.
Anyone wanna hook-a-brotha-up on how to go about it back aside from getting a new Xanga site? Peace.

if you got a custom module, you'll no longer have that private module, so to edit your page you'd go to the links provided above... question anwered, topic losed
