um.. i've had xanga for a while but i have NO CLUE how to make a banner.. i mean one of the headers for a layout. some people have some that say "YELLOWCARD" or lyrics from a song, or just a nice quote. usually they say "created by createblog.com".. sometimes i think that's cause someone made it and posted the html for the layout on xanga. but i dont know.
 if anyone has any information on anyone that makes banners or how or where i can make one.. that'd be great. thanks.

You just make it on MS Paint or any image editor, save it, upload it on Photobucket.com or anywhere else (if you want it on your Xanga the image server should allow hotlinking) and put the code on your site.

Use photoshop? Create the size about 7 inches by 3...and just write whatever you want. Like sweetxsimplicity said, after you've done that, save it as whatever you want it to be and upload it to a server. :D

Use PSP, or paint. design it to your liking. upload it on to a server that allows hot linking them to put it on your xanga. copy and your url of your picture to here in your header of your xanga
