 anyway moving on.my cousin told me that freshman year is a bit like 6th grade also, except (what brownsugar08 said) its more... "independent" on yourself.. in a way? in middle school, you know everyone and everyone knows you. But in hs, its like... you're in these little cliques of 3-7 people and you only hang out mainly with that group.. if you're not careful and you act all bizatchy and crap, you get rivals easily, if you screw up with homework, you get a worse rep easily, if you screw with upperclassmen, you get a bad rep, etc.. But, if you're all around kind and a good person and you try really hard at being a good student, then it'll be a sinch for you. my cousin said that some people get in fights JUST because of ketchup.. like"you spilled ketchup on my shirt!" "Well you frikken got in my way!" "You wanna take the outside?!" "FINE!" and then the fists go flying but yea, be careful

just have fun, dun bad mouth the upperclass men and keep ur mouth shut unless ur wit the freshman cuz nuttin is worse than gettin a book thrown at u, lol im kidding but still just have fun its not scary just more "advanced" than middle skool but like others are sayin b careful of how u act even though tehy were freshman once they wont hesitate to kick ur arse because of wat so and so said
 just have fun though and make friends

oh wow. im starting high school in 13 days but 13 days can go by pretty fast. Its a brand new school so i guess everyone is going to be lost on the first day. Its kind of nerve wrecking just because it is and reading all this advice is really helping so thanks everyone! Im hoping that i just don't get beat up but i have some "upperclassmen" friends.
