Did anyone watch that Daily Show episode with that clip they made "John Kerry: He's not George W. Bush"? It's fricking hilarious.

QUOTE(Kathleen @ Aug 20 2004, 7:43 AM) Either way, Kerry's trying to kick poor Nader out of the race. He's only supposed to show up on like four states' ballots. That's not Kerry's fault. To get on to a state's ballots, you have to get a certain number of signatures first (In Pennsylvania it is 40,000). Nader has no party behind him, so he wasn't able to get all those signatures. |

Perhaps Kerry payed off half the country so they wouldn't sign for him. |

So does Bush...
If you paid everyone in America $20, that would set you back a good $6 billion. Compare that to Kerry's campaign budget of $100 million. |

Highly_Evolved even does better than that... First of all I believe that JustPeachy has been watching Fahrenheit 9/11 too many times. You can't believe everything you see, hear, or read. Where is it that you get your information from? Don't base your opinions on what others say. I don't like Bush either, but I don't go around telling people that he's a hick and only one because of his father. What's done is done, he's was and maybe will still be the President. All we have to do is wait and see. Kerry is no better and no worse than Bush. Kerry supports the war also . . . didn't you know that? So what makes him any different from Bush. We'd most likely still be in the same place we are now even with Kerry. I don't know about you, but if that seems to be the case I would much rather have the same President that is running now than a new one. I believe he must finish what he has started. |

QUOTE(CrackedRearView @ Aug 18 2004, 11:45 AM) Is there any? He's been all talk, and his record in Senate is disputable... Yeah, John Kerry is right at least half of the time. That's because he keeps switching sides. QUOTE(John Kerry) I actually did vote for the $87 Billion, right before I voted against it So he was right the first time, but changed his answer. Yeah, and to JustPeachy: An investigation was launched in Florida and New York and they found out that there were people who registered in two states and they illegally voted in Florida. I think like only 12% voted for Bush, 67% voted for Gore and the rest voted something else. So I don't see how you can make the case that Bush stole Florida, when it was Democrats who broke the law by voting in two states. |

He went sailign with JFK as a kid, has houses in Boston, Newport, etc., and went to all the best prep schools. MOST of his money comes from his wife, but not all of it. |

Because he's a hypocrite. Also because Edwards went to public school and his daddy worked in a mill. LOL!
I don't understand why the democrats are so hypocritical this year. If the rallying cry is "Anyone but Bush" why are they picking on Nader? Nader is clearly not Bush, so he'd be someone but Bush, wouldn't he? |

Yeah, the southern coast of Rhode Island, about 20 minutes south of Providence, a little under an hour from Boston.

Kerry has nothing good about him, but Bush has a lot bad about him. while they both suck ass, it's a matter of who sucks less. to educated people, that would be kerry.
