I'm trying to position my boxed xanga. I'm using this :
<DIV class="boxed" align="center" valign="middle">

and I added this to my stylesheet:
div.boxed
{overflow: auto;
width: 560px;
height: 385px;
background-color: #ffffff;
background-image: url(PLACE URL HERE);
background-position: bottom left;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-repeat: no-repeat;}

...I've tried to change the alignment but nothing happens, am i doing something wrong?

that's not going to help the alignment because...it's just adjusting the size of the blog. Look at my tutorial in Xanga Help [it's pinned] on how to make a skin. There's a code for a boxed xanga...well actually...to position the blog. Hmm...wait, can I see your xanga?

i'm not trying to make a skin, i'm just trying to position my boxed xanga. btw,I read the tutorial and tried the boxed xanga script that was given, I can only adjust the width and height. the left & top margin doesn't work.

Div's aren't alignable that way... I don't think. I mean you can't just say "center" and it will center itself... the best thing to do is to add margin-top: pixels; and margin-left: pixels; and center it the best that you can.

There IS a way that you can center a DIV using the <center> tags... but I don't remember what the position was...

PS: Valign is a table thing... it doesn't work for DIV's.

OT: Dude, you're makin me look dumb here by editing your posts... ><

I'm a little confused... what doesn't work with your DIV? It looks centered to me...

Ah, I see. You didn't specify that. You can TRY changing the alignment to "left" and taking out the valignment.

OT: Sorry... I use tables more than DIV's so... I half know what I'm doing and half don't... ^^"
