i actually don't even know. they used to tell me that i wasn't allowed till i was 15. i never listened. just went behind their backs, i guess. now, i'm 15 and i've been with ym bf for a month. not really sure if i should tell them. mmm. yeah, i don't knwo whether they care or not.

if i had a bf, i would tell them, but there would be some complications...
my dad wouldnt care about anything related to the word "boyfriend" so i guess hes cool, but my mother on the other hand is WAY out there. she knows everything going on, and would tease me. i once got a rose-a-gram from this really creepy guy, [not to be mean or anything] and i brought the rose home and ya.... ....but she absolutly REFUSES to let me have a bf. she still thinks im a little kid, and that i would party my as$ off instead of studying for that math test tomm... she says this "you cannot and will not have a boyfriend until you are in collage and paying for your own apartment bill"  well, that sucks...

my mom has said that im not allowed to have a boyfriend until im 18 and in college.
after that, she doesnt care. I think this is only because she doesn't want a guy to interrup school work and stuff like that. I don't know, we're Indian. I don't know any Indians who DO have a boyfriend. If they do, obviously they're hiding it. I would probably hide it from my parents. Even if my mom was ok with it, i could never endure the endless teasing. And HOW would my dad take it? I don't want him to know. My sister would never stop teasing me. Ugh. |

My mom doesn't more than likely, my dad I guess does. He doesn't mind mine since he lives a ton of miles away. I think hes a little paranoid about him coming down though, haha. |

haha. i think i'm too young to start dating; and even if i went out on a date, my parents always want to know exactly where i am, at what time, and who i am with. doesn't exactly leave much space for dating

Yes my parents know...lol...I mean I'm like engaged...He HAD to ask my daddy before i could say yes...
but its true that i've had Bf in the past that they didn't know about...well truth is it was because they weren'y my race... but thats all over and done i've found the one i want to spend my life with

I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years now and some other months but I haven't told anyone in my family. They are really overprotected over me and so the only people that do know are his friends, my friends, and my cousins. It's kind of hard keeping it a secret especially for THIS long but I know that if I tell my parents, they'll only flip out. Plus, it doesn't help that he's a different race.
My parents prefer me to not have a boyfriend but if I do, they would want a Vietnamese guy. Honestly, I can't stand Vietnamese guys (especially the ones around here) and I've been with my boyfriend for WAY too long now. He's someone that I can potentially see myself marrying in the near future and so I'm afraid of how my parents AND siblings are gonna handle it when I do break the news to them. .=T But back to the topic, yes I have a boyfriend. No they don't know, and yes they will care. |

No way. I would never tell them that I have a boyfriend. (asian parents) We aren't that close, so I don't tell them anything. :( If I did, or if they found out...they'd probably kick me out of the house. Yeah, we've kissed and stuff. & If they found out about that, off with my head.

i remember talking to my mom about my boyfriend before we were going out, so she had the idea that i liked him. she would ask about him and stuff sometimes, and when she met him for the first time (at a formal dance, when she dropped me off) she said he seemed like a nice boy.
haha. but then when we started dating i didnt really know how she'd react if i asked her if it was okay to have a boyfriend, so i just told her, not caring what she'd say because i wouldn't break up with him for any reason, especially if she said no. so i just told her. and she was like "uhh whatever" but she really likes him so i'm happy about that.

my parents know about my boyfriend and they love him...my mom knew about my boyfriend the day we got together and it didn't take my dad long to figure out when i would stay at his house at night and not come home...but they don't care...they've met him and think he's wonderful

Family would go crazy if they find out if I had a boyfriend. Oh, he would be a dead boy next time I see him :o They (mom, dad, grandma) keep saying boys are bad, so hell, put me in a all girls school or something.
They will never touch my children D: DO THEY HONESTLY THINK I would get myself pregnant or let a stupid relationship f**k up my life (school, grades, mental stability), LIKE WHAT THE f**k? -___- |
