WHY DOES WEBSITES HAVE VERSION 5.0 AND DIFFERENT KIND OF VERSIONS?WHAT DOES IT MEAN.WHY THE PUT IT? WHAT IN THE HELL?

If I made more than one layout, I want people to know that the version they're seeing is just one of many others. |

And it also kind of helps the website owner keep track of it. Some people keep archives of their past layout and attaching a number to each one helps. (Though I do think when it's such as "v.5.2.41" it's just absurd!) |

just goes to show how determine da designers are to improve their works and stuff. i mean, who do even Microsoft has diff OS. they shld just stick to one or something. but no they didn't. they had to come up wit diff OS but they named it in such a way whereby ya won't realise it's just an updated version of da previous one. simply said. well, i don't use it but i know my friends use that so they can keep track of the skins' codes.
they keep the codes on their computer and sometimes it's just really hard to define if you have names. i mean.. "she came in through the night" and "i talked and the zoo listened" ............ if you have a gazillion skins made, numbers are best.. right? |

Well, also when you think about it, bigger version numbers, the better, are they not? I don't bother putting on those things, I change my layout A LOT. (Thinking about it... The layout I have now in my xanga is probably version 100+;)
