... So I figured out what the hell is wrong with you Bay Area kids; you're all too young to just say you're going out with friends. GET SOME DRIVING FRIENDS AND LEARN TO LIE TO YOUR PARENTS. >:[ So yeah. When you're in your second or third year of high school, see if I'm around and maybe we'll meet. If I decide to come up. stubborn.gif

Anna--

I would have taken you up on your Great America offer today, but I'm currently in the OC. :(

Ah, but I got to meet Tracy today. Next week: Robert.

Plenty of kids in SoCal. A few off the top of my head - Jose, Anisha, Tracy, Kim Sr., Christina, Elba, Pauline (at the moment), Francis, Seth, ...

Pauline ! How'd you get your parents to let you meet her in OC ? 'Cause I've been to Socal, and even passed GLENDALE and PASADENA and CERRITOS but I couldn't think up of anything to tell my parents why I want to meet/see him. Or yeah.

She obviously meant an area within New Jersey. stubborn.gif
I went to Sacramento last March for a robotics competition. There's nothing to do there. Some frigging "exciting" capital of California it turned out to be.

there should be one in texas :3.
i think we should draw up some sort of chart with every one who is interested in meeting, what state they live in, where they would like the meet-up, etc. could possibly have a number of annual meet-ups each season spread out in several different states

all for organization thumbsup.gif i know i wouldn't mind driving a couple-few hours to a major city around here to meet some of you guys

^ That sounds wonderful, but the biggest factor concerning that would be the ages of a lot of these cB kids. Most of them are around eighth grade, freshmen, and then a few older ones. Many posts in this thread are expressing difficulties in being able to meet up due to parental concerns and restrictions.

these would probably start out really small, lol.

itd only be for a day...all any one has to say is "im going out with my friends i'll have a cell phone and i'll keep in contact with you an i may be back late XD" to their parents.

ok...getting there may be a problem...i guess tough luck if you can't make it, lol. i figure we just find a place thats convinient for most of the people that want to meet in that state/area and go from there. i could pick up people that i trust and that are on the way if they had absolutely no way to get there. itd be cool to have volunteers for that crap and the people bumming a ride can help pay for gas too XD.

all we can really do for right now is get all the info organized and start planning way ahead of time, if you guys are interested in large group meet-ups. i've done this before on sillygoth XD so it seems possible to me

well not every one can have a cookie :\ if you're not willing to fly in where there are a number of cbers then you would have to find some one that lives in hk or the philippines to work with.

ah, heck yes. it would be so much easier with just one person because then we could just say "im going out with a friend".... instead of a giant group..

and this july?
