I've been getting lots of questions about the tutorial saying that their blogging space always stays at the bottom. I'm not sure if what's wrong with the codes.

maybe they didn't put the negative sign before the margin. i don't think it's really your problem. i think it's just that they don't know how to use the codes.
i think you should add a sentence that says that if you want the div layer to go up you have to put a negative sign or something like that. |

Tell them to only play around with one margin at a time. When they get the vertical position right, get the horizontal position right.
