okay ive been using gimp for a while now and what i know is that when you open two images, you click on your stamp brushy dealo (that thing youre talkin about) and hold down ctrl while you click a spot in one image, then open up the other image, and start brushing, and whamo! your first image is brushed into your second. its says you can also do that with patterns but ive never tried.

Sorry if this question is a little off topic, but what is Gimp, like what does it offer their Users?

gimp is sorta like photoshop, except it has less stuff you can do. its image manupilation (i slaughtered that spelling lol) basically. you can animate too. its just photoshop except less complicated and free. if you want the details, i can explain.. just say when! lol

hope that helps :]
