Well...I like Firefox, just wish that xanga would work along w/ it + i need to get it to have ftp work through the address bar like IE...

so, for those two, I choose IE.

i use opera because of the tabbed window fature (i think mozilla might have it too??)
but yeah...xangas look messed up in IE...altho IE isnt bad...but i prefer opera.
but if you go to my xanga...you'll see that even though i use div layers it doesnt look messed up. of course not everyone is aware of how to make it so...so some xangas look weird.
but i usually modify xanga layouts with IE since the majority of people use IE.

I use MyIE2, which is IE pretty much with extra features and tabbed windows. Makes browsing Xangas easier. happy.gif

Hmm.. when i use Firefox. Everything show fine. I think it's just that some of the div layer isn't coded right. happy.gif

I personally use Maxthon (formerly MyIE2). Basically its an IE addon with better options and popups too. I probably would use firefox instead, but xangas are messed up when i view them in FF.

I use that too. The only thing bad about it is that it gives you some spyware.

I use Opera but it sux at times because some of the coding won't work and things get misaligned. I use IE too to just modify my layouts for those IE users.

i used opera a while back. its real nice, nice skins and many to choose from. but kinda inconvenient since i like to make layouts, and i need IE for that. so then i tried maxthon, which uses IE but has additional features like tabbed browsing (which i absolutely love). but i really didnt like how it looked. heh...im a sucker for nice looking skins.

anyway, i just downloaded avant browser. WOW!! i love it, it uses IE but has the additional features you look for---tabbed browsing, popup blocker, ad blocker...you have many options like to block flash and pictures if you wish. but yeah.....i highly recommend avant browser for IE users.

SCREENSHOT for those interested...

lol..i was just gonna make a topic about my current browser...its AOL explorer...i used to use firefox...but now ive been using aol explorer since the summer..for 5months now and i highly recomend it...
like FF..it also has tabs..but..better than ff..when u hover over each tab..it shows a thumbnail preview of that page..as shown below

that is very useful when u dont know what may be on a site and ur parents r around..so u cant click it to check the full page..just use the thumbnail to preview the contents =]

also...aol explorer looks wayyy better than ff

and most importantly...ALL XANGAS and everything else coded w/ IE can be viewed perfectly in aol explorer....unlike FF xD

also it blocks pop-ups very well...i havent gotten a single one since i started using this =]

OoOO I use FF and Aol Explorer. I really love AOL better though. I just use FF because I am used to it. I was wondering if what my brother said was true.....Does IE really give you viruses?

Because of IE flaws, it can be hacked easily.

it's very easy to get spyware w/ IE

FIREFOX was voted the number 1 product of 2005 (by pc magazine)

it doesn't have great div layering, but that can be fixed with better coding. I will sacrifice being able to have great xanga control for security

Firefox. Scrollbars don't appear because that's basically an "IE" only code. Coding is only "screwed up" in Firefox if you code incorrectly.

As a sub for IE I use Avant<33

I use Safari on Macs, and Firefox on everything else. Firefox and Safari seem to be some of the most standards-compliant browsers, and also pack a lot of nice features such as tabbed windows. Firefox also has custom search keywords which are really handy.

IE. Firefox is annoying. It always pops up with htese things like download this plug in...or We found a cookie! IE is alot faster and easier anyway, even if it does have more pop ups

yea.

I like safari over firefox. I don't know why I guess I just do. And way over IE. So in my opinion it is the best.
