make background stretch Options

is there a way to make the background on a xanga just stretch? that way no matter what resolution a person has they can see it without it having white around it..or if a resolution is smaller than the background...it can make itself smaller to fit that resolution so they see all of the background instead of it cutting off..

unfortunately i don't think that's possible. when you design your xanga it can only be optimized for one resolution so it's best to design your website for the benefit of most of your viewers by using the most commonly used resolution setting. according to onestat.com 1024 x 768 is currently the most used screen resolution on the web. here are the stats according to percentage of users on the web as reported by onestat.com.
