i just started using xanga for a few months only...today when i way trying to figure out how to protect my xanga from not being read by ppl i dislike... i came across a "private blogging" thingy..i put it in my xanga script but then after i saved the changes, i can't even go back to my "look and feel" page to edit my settings and stuff...not even to write a new weblog, can someone help me with that? cry.gif

the look and feel URL is:

http://www.xanga.com/CLAF/default.asp

got there and edit things... maybe you make a link on your xanga that says CLAF and only you will beable to go to your look and feel but the link will be there so you can click on it!! laugh.gif

heres an alternative...when ur writing a weblog [click new weblog] go to the bottom of the page, and ull see an option called 'protected post' , there u can decide the ppl who can view htis post. the 'private blogging post' can be bypassed.

goto xanga.com then sign in under safe mode there it goes to the original and just delete the stuff you don't want and click save you should be able to goto CLAF

you probably couldn't do any of that stuff because you might've forgot to add yourself to the list..
like rnrn897 said.. you can bypass it
