ack! ok. i got a coolcounter thing. and ever since i put it on mu site pop ups have attacked me and my loyal readers. about two pop ups usually from emode.com and smilycentral come up. is there any way that i can diable them or is it going to have to come down to me removing the counter?

i have that problem too! i didn't know where all the popups were coming from, but i also have a cool counter... BUT mine's not specifically emode & smiley central... i have some other popups too

I think I heard that there was a link in the code to get the counter on your site that had the popup in it.
I think you can remove it.. but I'm not sure how. Eh, go sitemeter.com

if you download the Yahoo! companion (toolbar) it comes with a free feature that blocks popups. it is 99.9999% effective. REALLY comes in handy. i recommend

In your code for your counter take out this part
document.write("<scr"+"ipt src='http://www.coolcounters.com/counter.js'></scr"+"ipt>"); And it should stop popups, if not then i dunno. |
